he can eat the turkey, the gravy, the squash, the corn, peas, carrots, green bean cassarole if you add water to your soup and not milk, rolls and margerine, stuffing, sweet potatoes, coleslaw, relishes, pretty much everything but the mashed potatoes, and if you mash his with chicken or turkey broth and margerine instead of butter he can even eat those, i dont know if you can make pumpkin pie without milk, but coolwhip is non dairy and there are a million fruit pie recipes out there, looks to me like he could eat the whole dinner..........
References :
You don't want to cater the whole dinner to him either, but you can make every one a dish of sweet potatoes, and do the traditional mashed potatoes, and than a garlic mashed potatoes by use chicken stock instead of milk (really good) and cook the garlic whole cloves in with the potatoes, ...
Peas and pearl onions are for everyone, traditional stuffing will not bother him....For dessert make an apple pie, and leave the whipped cream off for him...everyone is so full and tired after Turkey dinner, he won't miss the whipping cream or ice-cream but have it on hand just in case others want it...
Don't forget to serve a great bread or dinner rolls, and you should ask him what type of butter or margarine he uses...
let your sis and her b/f bring it themselves...
Happy Thanksgiving...I can't believe I just said that! It is right around the corner!!
