Ladies: I’m looking for a great hair salon and a stylist recommendation. I need a good place for cut and color. I’m not interested in discount walk-in places (although that would work for my husband.) Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Salon Uffizi, located on Burnet Road. It’s not a huge place, but Erin is by far the most talented hairstylist I have ever been to. She is up-to-date on all the latest "techniques".
She is the only stylist I have been to there, but the others seem great as well.

1) You’re mood, you feel depressed and you may not realize it
2) You project it–change is refreshing and you haven’t been refreshed
3) You’re attached to a hair stylist who doesn’t want you to change (complacency)
4) When you look at your pictures from days gone by, you look the same, and not in a good way. Everyone else around you has evolved, but you have played it safe and stayed the same
5) Your hair just doesn’t suit your lifestyle
6) Just because you had a great hairstyle six years ago, that doesn’t mean that’s the ONLY style for you
7) You want to enhance your beauty
You haven’t experimented with color for three months or more. It’s like going to a restaurant and ordering the same thing over and over. How will you know if you like something if you don’t try it?
9) You’re personality isn’t reflected in your hairstyle
10) You haven’t received a compliment anytime recently on your hair

My hairdresser has left the salon I go to. Do I follow her, loving the way she does my hair, or do I stay at the salon that has always been good to me? The salon gives discount on products, allows me longer than normal laybys on larger items. I’m guessing I would get this at other salons but not sure where my loyalties should be lying. It takes forever to find a stylist you are happy with and who understands you and your hair…I have curly hair and she cuts it without turning it to frizz. She tells me the truth about the condition of the hair and if a colour or cut won’t suit me. I’m divided….HELP!!!! please.
Follow the hairdresser. It is really hard for a hairdresser to go out on their own. Most of them are kicked out as soon as the salon finds out that they are wanting to go out on their own. They aren’t allowed to take any addresses or phone numbers and then they have no customers and no business.

I got highlights yesterday. They aren’t exactly what I asked for. How long should I wait before going back to the stylist? Do you think she will give me a discount or do them for free?
I know highlights get lighter as time pasts, I am happy with the color. But it is how they blend with my hair cut and style… When I part my hair, you can see the chunks.
If you’re not happy, go back and tell her you want them lightened or thinned, and i’m 95% sure, they won’t charge because of customer satisfaction. usually, you dont want to go back since dye ruins your hair, but you want to make sure you’re happy with what your getting!
I am starting chemotherapy soon, and I want to cut my hair short first. So I will slowly get used to not having any hair! I have long blonde hair. If I donated all my hair to a wig place, do you think they would give me a discount on a wig?
Unfortunately, no. However, you have two options. You may donate your hair and find a way to buy or be given a wig- the american cancer society can put you in touch with low or no cost resources, if you’re in the us, and your doctor or cancer center can refer you to a suitable source if you’re not.
If you like your hair, and don’t mind having to wear a bandana or hat, you can get your own hair made into one! www.hatswithhair.com has information about how to properly cut your hair and get it made into a headpeice.
Please remember that a wig is at minimum somewhat uncomfortable, and usually significantly uncomfortable. A hat with hair will also have some discomfort, although it may be less. Your skin may become sensitive as a result of your treatments, too.
These are all reasons why you need to plan for head coverings that aren’t hair based, like soft hats or cotton based scarves, or going bald if that’s your style. Wigs are nice sometimes, but please don’t expect to wear yours during all waking hours- you’ll be miserable if you try.

On the April 13, 2009 episode of The Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda, fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi said, “I think you ought to spend most of your money on your hair. Because if that’s right, everything else looks right.” Mizrahi also said, “When you spend a lot on the color and the cut [of your hair], for two months, you look great.”
Thanks Isaac!!!

This video depicts the method I use to trim my ends. I have found that using pony tail holders allows me to trim more of my ragged ends than when my hair is in twists.

This is a song i wrote after jordan made me angry, again.. its not a serious song.. i just wanted to make myself laugh
Lyrics:
Hee Hee
My names Jawawawaody
Dont mess with me
I got a nerf gun
Dont u run
Thats not how we roll back in my hood
Nah g
Gotta take a pee
Cant wipe my own butt
Even tho im seven
I probobly wont be able too
Until im eleven
You see this ugly haircut
Up on my head
Ill never let u cut it
Not till im dead
I am baby voice, I am baby voice.. (lol messed up this part bad on the program i used)
Freestyle!
I went to discount hair
No it wasnt a dare
I wanted a bowlcut
So i sat in the chair
I said sir, yo
How much will this be
He said bitch
Bowlcuts are free
So i pulled out the bowl
He slapped it on my head
Said little boy, are you sure about this?
I slapped his ugly face
With my bronze mace
I still play runescape
What a discrace
But all this reminds me
Of what i forgot
I didnt bother Colton about that i fought!
I went bottle picking
I put on my coat
Instead of being normal
Im saving for a boat
Hey Jordan man man i heard u were saving up for bottles man 100 dollars on bottles man thats pretty crazy man yeaah….
Hey cole i got 50 dollars in bottles
Cole im lvl 35 in runescape
Cole im bored
Cole im going upstairs
Hey cole make me kraft dinner
OMFG I DONT CARE AGHHH!!!
Hey cole.. heh heh hey
Hey cole
